Meetings

We provide an environment to help beginning woodturners get started with minimal start up costs. Fostering the art and craft of woodturning by providing instruction, tools, and materials to the beginner.

We welcome you and invite you to join us on many opportunities to learn, teach, serve, and sell. Our monthly meetings are held on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 pm.  Our monthly meetings are held at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology HVAC Shop which is located at 135 International Boulevard in Clarksville, TN 37042.

You are also welcome to come to our monthly “Learn-2-Turn” events which are held on the fourth Saturday from 9AM-12PM.  We meet at the Habitat for Humanity, ReStore, 406 Madison Street, Clarksville, TN  37040.  During the “Learn-2-Turn” we will provide the wood, lathe, tools and an experienced turner to teach you to turn wood.  This is a hands-on class and is totally free to anyone wanting to learn.

Directions to Club Meeting Place:  From I-24 Exit 4, take US 79 North toward Guthrie, KY for 1.6 miles.  Turn right onto International Blvd.  Go approximately 0.2 miles to the third entrance to TCAT.  Follow the road around the parking lot to the back of the building, we are at the far end of the building.

Directions to the “Learn-2-Turn” meeting place:  From the intersection of Providence Blvd., Riverside Drive, Kraft Street and North Second Street; take North Second Street 1.2 miles to Madison Street.  This is just past the Cultural Museum.  Take a left onto Madison Street.  The ReStore is 0.1 miles on your right.
